was gonna give it a good chance to live for couple days. If no progress will cull.I don't know much about turkeys, but if it were a chicken I would give it a day or two to see how it does. If no improvement I would go ahead and cull.
what is the hen a sex link
How sweet!
the reason I asked was the hen I picture had some red feathering at least looked that way on phone. Kinda looked like a black sex linked hen I have. If it was could have had a small chance to throw some barred rock looking chicks. The hen is (I was told by previous owner) a Black Austrolop and I don't have any barred rocks!!!
Such cute little fuzz balls!!
Candled today, (day 8/9) and found of my 5 silkie eggs, 2 developing well, 2 clear, and 1 blood ring, all my Black australorp eggs (confirmed that is) are looking clearand can't tell from my mixes as the eggs are pretty dark. I'm not tossing the clears yet, 1 I'm sad, but I really don't want to toss any, the hens should have been fertile when they arrived, and I don't have enough time for a grow out from an Aug Hatch before it gets to cold, and they are brown eggs, so I could be missing something, right?
