yes I candled all four, one was emopty and the other looked like it died aroud day 14

2 of nine turkey eggs hatched. 3rd chick is about
Out. One more is pipped one one was rocking.

Quick question one of the chicks that hatched has what looks like a swollen or bad knee joint leg just stays up is there anthing I can do for it or is it one I will have to cull.

I don't know much about turkeys, but if it were a chicken I would give it a day or two to see how it does. If no improvement I would go ahead and cull.

was gonna give it a good chance to live for couple days. If no progress will cull.

what is the hen a sex link

The hen is (I was told by previous owner) a Black Austrolop and I don't have any barred rocks!!!

the reason I asked was the hen I picture had some red feathering at least looked that way on phone. Kinda looked like a black sex linked hen I have. If it was could have had a small chance to throw some barred rock looking chicks.

Candled today, (day 8/9) and found of my 5 silkie eggs, 2 developing well, 2 clear, and 1 blood ring, all my Black australorp eggs (confirmed that is) are looking clear and can't tell from my mixes as the eggs are pretty dark. I'm not tossing the clears yet, 1 I'm sad, but I really don't want to toss any, the hens should have been fertile when they arrived, and I don't have enough time for a grow out from an Aug Hatch before it gets to cold, and they are brown eggs, so I could be missing something, right?

I have 12 eggs in a friend's incubator. She told me today 12 of 12 are developing towards a July 22 hatch! Yeppie!
