Having good luck with the quail eggs. Despite the temperature spike, 13 have hatched and 12 have survived. I still have 36 eggs in the incubator, so I will give them a few more days.

So 20 of my 33 eggs made it to lock down. The next 5 days are going to be crucial!!! No opening the bator for anything. Going to see if I can get a better hatch rate by being more hands off than before. Here's hoping for a great hatch!![]()
Cute! Love mommas with little ones. None went broody here. All her own or you give her some?Sparkle has finally finished her egg hatching stage and is now a proud mother of her 14 new little chickies! I am also very proud of her 'cause it was her first time being broody and she had a 100% hatch rate! Here she is just three weeks ago when she went broody!
And here she is now with her 14 little puffballs walking around the yard!
She was walking away with her chicks in this pic~! I love the way that newly hatched chicks try to walk but then kind of stumble/hop around!
Aww! Little cutie.
I'm on day 15 of incubating chicken eggs and the bator spiked to 102.9 today. I'm not sure how long it was that high. Will this affect the chicks in a negative manner?
