July Hatch-A-Long

Is it sad that I have eggs due to hatch June 28th, July 1st, July 3rd and July 4th? This will be a fun filler week. I am going to have to get 4 or 5 brooders going......

Lucky you! I have the same problem..... my broodies are due to +70 chicks next week!!!!

Mine are going to be due early to mid-July, if everything goes well. I'm terrified. Call ducks are notoriously hard to hatch...

Same with Turkeys. Shipped Turkey eggs are almost impossible. I have done it. Have 6 poults out in the poultry yard/pen all doing well. Turkeys even figured out they can't swim and don't like being wet.

Well, I added another dozen mixed breed eggs to the incubator this afternoon. That's a total of 35 eggs in the incubator now. I'll need a bigger brooder if they all hatch!

He was so funny looking. Imagine a turkey looking like a wet cat and with the same attitude. lol

YES!! Just candled my eggs, I can see the tiny heartbeat in all three!
