candled mine Sunday Morning, have 4 out of 7 developing

since the one didnt really make it through shipping, we will say 4/6 so not too bad so far, I hope they all hatch! I want some mille cochins!

I just candled them and all 6 were moving. Maybe Soggy could give us hints as to what they are.

I have 2 that made it to lockdown ..... rest were scrambled pretty good or quit early. Lockdown on those 2 are today for me!

My quail hatched! These are my first quail ever and I'm amazed at how tiny and FAST they are.

That's what I'm talking about! I thought there were mice in there for a minute! Crazy fast and they grow like mad, wait til you see. They double in size every week! In 6 WEEKS they start laying eggs! Amazing!

I invited my niece and nephew over to see the quail and our new PBP and they thought they were baby song birds. It's so funny the yay their little minds work. They thought the peafowl eggs were dinosaurs and they were gonna grow up to be bigger than the room.
