July Mystery Egg Swap . . Shipping Deadline is TODAY!!

My bator just malfunctioned and i went to check it i was up to 134 deg farenheit!!! i had 72 of whiteconfections quail eggs due to hatch the 31st, 90 of mine i put in their today and my july swap eggs i j ust checked it at 330 and it was 99.8. This is the second time this has happened, thank goodness i was checking.

I candled my chicken eggs I got today Out of 8 sent only 2 of them candled.

I also got 8 ducks eggs from my other partner 7 made it the other was completely crushed.

(those are too early to candle yet.)

Yeah! got my eggs today - 6 large fowl and three bantam eggs. The large fowl are very light brown and the bantams - 2 white and one light brown. They came from SC hmmm, wonder who they are from



edited to add: I think they are Barred Rock and Cochins and I think they are from Renegade due to the return address

My eggs from elieugene6 (thats whom Im guess was my mystery person) are doing good.I have 7/12 left so far,3 minty green ones and 4 brown.
Lock down is August 3rd....
When does everyone else go into lockdown and has everyone guessed right on there mystery swap person?

I know where my eggs came from I just don't know what they are

I am hoping some are cochin or silkies

I have 3 of what I am going to assume are naked neck eggs developing

If I assume they are NN then I won't be surprised! Part of my problem is I had another batch of eggs in there and one of them exploded and I think I didn't get it clean enough yet. Two of the eggs had blood rings - so I am thinking there is some bacteria floating around in there.

I just had a duck egg make it almost all the way and then die thanks to the eggsplotion.

Life has been very busy for me the last week or so so even if I don't reply right away - I try to get on and read this thread.

Are mine mystery eggs too? All look like bantams... and pretty sure they are light brown. Candled them earlier and looks like 4 are definately growing. When I got them I saw the JMS on there and I was thinking what kind of chicken is that... took me a good hour before it hit me.... July Mystery Swap. DUH.
