July Mystery Egg Swap . . Shipping Deadline is TODAY!!

Pnjmaker: Are you the one who sent me the eggs. (muscovie eggs) Because it had just Mystery swap on it and looks like the post office made you put your address and it says Iowa on it.

At least I know what they are and how long to incubate them.

Now to figure out what jims eggs are that he sent me.

2 eggs look bigger than the others.

I hope they faired well from yesterday. Our electric went out at 2 pm and didn't come back on until 5 am this morning. I did end up going to walmart and buying a power inverter but not until 8 pm last night. The lowest my incubator got was 86 so I am worried about drowning in the eggs from the temp being so low.

recieved my eggs from my 2nd swap partner- from greenville ohio

more quail... look there is one blueish green egg....

some large brown eggs and some creamish eggs that are larger than what my bantams lay any thoughts?

Looks like you have some more Cortunix Quail Eggs.

They are easy to keep and so friendly and don't take up much space. They also start to lay at 6 weeks of age. My kids love there eggs pickled even little sunny side up eggs.

what size cage do they need and can you house them together? how do you have yours?

When I had quail in Georgia I made a rectangular cage out of the small square hard wire?? I then hung it from the top of my coop. They were off the ground and easy to take care of.

I had some type solid white quail that were pretty good size.

I candled my eggs today out of the four blue ones non of them seem to have made the trip none of them have veins or air defined air sacs

out of the 4 banty eggs 2 Maybe three look good. air sacs in tact and some veining and development.

Good thing I got some Frizzle ee eggs coming I hope some of them make it I wanted at least one or two blue eggers.

I have been out of it this week.......

No chance to candle my eggs yet......

And I had thrown my box away without checking the postmark!

Hope to candle them tonight!

Still no clue who from though...no return addy was on my box that I saw.
