I raise mealworms. They a very easy.. If mine were any other animal people would be reporting me for neglect. LOL

Point me in the direction for the best instruction for mealworms.

Well, I used this website:

It looks like a lot, but it's because it's "everything you want to know." LOL
All I do is have a big plastic tote. Put several inches of chick-starter into the bottom. Throw in potato peels or any other kitchen leftover veggies. Bought some meal worms from a fellow chicken owner at a local show, dumped them into the tote. AND THEN, thew the whole tote into the shed and forget about it until I want some.
I just have to remember to throw in those veggies as the previous ones dry out, because the veggies are the "water source". That's literally all I do.
I have been told not to buy the Giant mealworms from the petstores because they have been treated to grow larger and not to turn into adults. So they are basically a dead-end.
