June 2015 Hatch A Long HAL

How are your little D'Uccle's doing? How are the Cemani doing?

Still pipped on the d'uccle and no zipping yet. The cemanis are internally pipped, so they'll probably hatch tomorrow while I'm at work  The other batches of cemani are all doing good and I just put another batch in today. How are yours doing?

Edit: Whoops, after posting I found I actually have one cemani pipped and up to two d'uccles now!

It is going to be difficult to not want to hatch ducklings every month! So cute!

Adorable! I have my own coming in the mail, they shipped out on Tuesday!

So I have a cemani zipping. They always seem to hatch early for me. They make such happy sounds when hatching, as opposed to the usual shrieking I'm used to, lol.

#13 is out with #14 trying to get out. #15 better get busy and join the rest. #4 maran chick is out. #5 I think must be a death. Egg feel different.

I've got 4/29 on shipped eggs developing right now and I'm stoked. Shipped eggs are impossible.
I ordered 18 Bantam eggs off of ebay they arrived quickly i candled on day 7 16 of my eggs seem to be developing well my first time ordering shipped eggs good experience so far I guess I will find out in 10 days if they hatch I will definitely keep the update going

Sounds like you should have some new chicks when you get home from work! Awesome!
I have got Cemani and bantams going into lockdown today!

Your eggs are doing okay too. Maybe one not developing. My silkies were infertile except for four. I didn't think that rooster was doing his job!!!!
Looks like a nice day. May get some coop work and cleaning done.

They are so cute. I am still waiting for lockdown. The Coturnix Quail are locking down Saturday. Unfortunately I have no idea when the remaining chicken egg will hatch, or if at all. If that chick manages to survive all the chaos it will need a name fit for a survivor.

Oh and the past two nights I have found an egg laid outside the coop door beside the ramp?? What's up with that? Is it because three out of the 5 nests are occupied? DH is going to build more boxes, can't get that done soon enough LOL
