My eggs arrived already, shipping had them estimated between Thursday and Monday next week. Collected Sunday, shipped Monday and arrived today (Tuesday). Werent even in the post for 24 hours.. all arrived intact but as my almost 5yo was helping unpack from the tissue, I bumped his hand causing him to drop one which made a small crack, I could repair it but I think I still have enough.

Yep had a few people reccomend him so thought I would give their eggs a shot.

That's awesome! I think I am going to do another order with them later this year when we get the bigger enclosure sorted.

I candled a couple nights ago and 13 of the 15 look really good. 2 are iffy so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for those. Hatch day is the 22nd... I’m really excited for this batch. I hatched out some eggs last October that I had ordered, and this hatch is from those birds (mostly).

Today is day 17!!!

Seeing how much light shines through this one, I'm guessing this it's a little bit behind on development.

Going to candle them all tomorrow to mark air cells, so exciting!

Just a little update on my little Bielefelder (right most) and her two EE friends I bought to keep her company. I feel like there is some sort of Charlie's Angel's thing going on here....she is my first chick hatched from my flock, so I am super proud of her!

And because I have poor self control....some new hatching eggs that arrived today. They will be set tomorrow and due on July 1st! Black Copper Marans, Whiting True Blue, Spitzhauben, and Blue Laced Belle (a proprietary hybrid from the farm I got the chicks from).

We have 5 chicken eggs due for the 19th. I aimed for Father’s Day but was off by a day or two...so far they are doing good!

we also have 2 eggs due for the 26th, only 1 is developing

we ALSO have 4 other eggs that are on day 2 today...have yet to see growth, I will be candling in 3 days...

All eggs are under a broody hen, I will move the older eggs to the incubator on day 18 for the eggs...

Day 7 for my eggs. I candled this morning and tossed the BO egg, which was an obvious clear and very porous. I’m still not really sure about a couple of the others, but I’m giving them a few more days. It’s difficult to candle in my coop due to a security light in my backyard.

Quail eggs from the store didn't develop, they will go into the compost or maybe the new raised bed I'm setting up.

Other quail eggs have started to pip
