Day 11 today - blue laced red Wyandottes!! 20 out of 24 still going strong!

I'm on day 2 of a barnyard mix. I've got 12 eggs in there. So far 9 Teal are viable..olive egger is hard to tell..1 white out of 2 is viable. I will leave them until day 5 to check again. Let's go!!

I saw the little red shadow but you can never be 100% that's why I'm waiting for day 5

Well I checked the camera and I got 5 deathlayers out so far

4 lady amherst pheasants hatched so far, and are doing great.

I brought the rooster back to the friend, she gave me 6 more eggs to hatch, (10 from the other day) She says she would like to have 3 more female chicks out of the bunch. I don't know if the rooster made my hens fertile, but I will keep an eye open.
