So my weekend final count was 6 deathlayers 3 buckeyes and 1 buckeyeXcochin. I'm happy bout the buckeyes cuz I got 1 roo and 2 hens my roo napoleon was part of the massacre 3 weeks ago so I have his son but also I have 4 clb and 1 buckeye and 1 buckeyeXbrahma and so far 7 orloffs set to go in lockdown tomorrow

So happy that all seems to be going well. I am wondering how deathlayers got their name????? It seems so unusual. Do they die after they lay??? lol

From what I understand, they got their name because they keep laying till the day they die
