I think my other eggs are due on 21st, first day of summer!

Here are the 2 that are out.

the chick above is from the DK egg, below is from the blue egg.

They are in the brooder.

My hatch is over; I ended up with 15 Swedish Flower chicks and 3 DIS. I have been wanting more blue chicks this year so I was happy to get 9 blues in this hatch! It’s like the ocean in there Will post pics later.

2 of my quail have hatched. now waiting on the other 4...... UGH! They are taking FOREVER!!! LOL

Your baby is cute, I have one that is 4-5 weeks old, and it looks like yours.

I have these 3 I am waiting on for tomorrow, I have 2 pips. They are the LO mix eggs.

I have 4 more LO mixes due on Friday.

and a hen is sitting on 5 feedstore eggs. Due on Monday, and one nail polished egg also due on Mon. (in incubator.)

The broody eggs from my neighbor are hatching! First pip!

how long do chickens normally take to hatch? It's been 24 hours since it pipped. I can hear it and see it peaking at the hole. I need some reassurance, I'm getting worried it won't hatch

Best to leave it be. If it is slow hatching, it may be slow absorbing a yolk, you don't want to help an egg hatch if the yolk is not absorbed yet.

I have 3 due tomorrow, 2 pipped, and I was worried about the 3rd one, I wanted to do a quick check, of the 3rd, and turned it over and found this...

The chick was working on this on the bottom, (not in the aircell.) I set it back in incubator, this side up.
