36 hours after first pip and the chick is out! I'll post a photo once they are dried and fluffy. Now to wait for my other one

First day of Summer chicks!

2 of the LO's mixes are out, one more LO mix egg is still hatching, I was hoping the LO mixes would be gray, but they are looking black. I do have the one hatching, and 4 more LO mixes due in a couple more days, so hopefully I have more chances of gray color. (The lady who gave me the eggs to hatch said she would take a few of the chicks. We will see if she is as excited about black though.)

6 out of the original 12 eggs hatched with 11 going into lockdown- The others, 1 was ready to hatch but died, 2 were dead but internally pipped, and 2 more quit maybe on day 16/17. Not sure what happened.
The others hatched with zero assistance.

Now im waiting in the other eggs,
24 of those are left right now, just took 3 quitters out.
They are on day 19 with one internal pip from a BCM so far.

Maybe just appear black because they are wet? My darker gray one appeared black until it fully dried.. for you

3 of the broody eggs have hatched and are under momma now! One is internally pipped, so hopefully she will accept it tomorrow with the rest if/when it hatches! The other eggs are a bit behind…what to do…what to do…
