I got babies!!! 3 of them.
All the other chicken eggs (15 ish) are doing great and will show their presence today or tomorrow.

Excellent question! Haha! The person I got the eggs from has multiple roosters, so it's a guessing game. The black ones are most likely from the Brahma rooster, which I was hoping for. 7 peeps now, a few more blacks, some yellows and one buff. They're popping out one by one!

Soon!!! Three pips! This little guy is the farthest along. The kids thought it was the coolest thing to see the baby moving around inside the egg. Seriously such a nest experience. And my neighbor's broody is a saint haha

My eggs made it. No thanks to the post office this time. This was the box I received.

I wasn’t hopeful for fully formed eggs.

But they seemed ok.

All ten made it. But 4 out of ten have some what look like some seriously detached air cells. But being as the post office played soccer with it I am surprised there are no cracks.

Three!! The fourth doesn't have any pip on it. So I'm wondering if that one is going to hatch at all. And shout out to the broody haha

I’ll join in. My two bantam hens, Pippy & Phoebe, have been broody since May 13th. (Phoebe is Pippy’s baby who hatched June 1, 2018.) They each laid one egg and both were fertile, but Phoebe’s died after a week. My leghorns have been providing more eggs for her to set on, though, and one of them is fertile. It happens to be the one that was laid May 14th, so it should be hatching soon, too. Pippy’s chick is peeping and working on hatching today!

*PS- Can someone help me with adding photos? I tried uploading one from my files, could see the little activity bar moving as if it was uploading, but then it stopped and I saw no image. I clicked on “save changes” just in case it was there, but still saw no photo.
