June Hatch A Long

So excited to hear that your hatch was just slightly delayed and you had a pip last night!! How are things going this morning?

They grow so fast!! Those little mohawks and the baby peeking out from between her legs are killing me! lol! :love:love:love
Omg I didn’t see that!!!!

Good luck this week @SueT!!!

It’s looking at me - none of the others doing anything. My friend said the last batch from same parents had 2 that hatched 2 days later - it will be like it’s sisters from first batch and white. I can hear it peeping from across room!

Doing great! Getting big... they aren’t much for being handled or me feeding or watering them, I look to have lots of little boys in there :hmm though time will tell. I’m actually in the city for the weekend, but if y’all don’t mind it dragging into July a bit I might be able to get some pics when I get home. They are little flyers and several will come out of the brooder when I open the lid now!

I lost the thread again  as we’ve been very busy the last few weeks with bringing in our hay. Over 2200 bales this year.

I’m amazed at the differences in feathering patterns from the one Sire and 7 different mamas. 6 moms being production red layers, and the one Colombian rock. No evidence of beards or whiskers yet from Dad, but there are quite a few feathered feet!
