June Hatch-A-Long

Pics
Getting tired of people asking to come on my property to look at my chicks... no thank you! I have strict bio security here and only friends and family are welcome. None go inside where my chicks or flock is except my husband, myself, or a family friend. Those are the only people I need touching my birds.

People are ridiculous, this isnt TSC!
I do the same. No one touches the chick or goes near the flock for bio security. I can't have someone "that forgot" transport a virus to them. The NPIP test must be passed.

It's that time again :celebrate

All hatchers and birds welcome :jumpy

Don't forget to share pics because we all love pics of cute little fluffers 📷

Good morning and Happy June 1st all my chicken friends!:love
I am jumping on the June Hatch-Along with Lavender (self blue), blue/black/splash ameraucanas and getting more Marans eggs as well. Both the black copper and the blue birchen. The ones I had to sell, sold in half a day after posting on craigslist.I was quite surprised by the demand for chicks! The people I sold to were all so sweet and thrilled to be getting nice chicks. I have a wait list for the upcoming ones. Happy to be here!:)
Should be setting all this week.

Sounds nice! I’m glad you’re in this hatch too!

Thanks for checking in @SnapdragonQ and @CluckNDoodle

she is not improving today. She has made a few sounds after sleeping for a couple of hours but she is still doing the open mouth and tongue stick out every single breath. I have her wrapped in paper towels no inside the cat carrier so she can’t flip with her head propped on a stuffie and she is sleeping. I’m hopeful that rest can make things better as a last ditch.

I’ve gotten no help or info from my multiple geese-specific groups. It’s probably just one of those things that happens.
She CAN struggle if she wants to, so I’m thinking she isn’t terribly uncomfortable so I am okay waiting for improvement without cullin her right now.

but, this sucks.

LOL And I thought I was so clever to use my fish tank thermometer in my incubator!
Kiki told me to do this and she made a thread about it somewhere a long time ago. It has truly helped me have the perfect hatch each and every time. I would suck at hatching if it wasnt for her advice almost a year ago.

I'm so sorry, this is definitely not the goose experience I was hoping you would have. We've had so much fun with them.

Have you tried this facebook group? They're supposed to be very helpful with waterfowl there. This is where my friend got assistance in how to save the goslings that did make it after the toxin situation. I still have my fingers crossed! She's in good loving hands with you! :hugs
