Sorry to disappoint, the only other person here is my 4 year old It actually wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be. They are both on their way to new flocks as we speak! And I am free of roosters now until these little cockerels grows up. DH is convinced the tailless one is a cockerel. He might not be wrong. With them being mixes it's hard to say.

Landing net. Smaller mesh is better, long handle is absolutely necessary.

I was off by a day; lockdown starts tonight! We candled one last time and everything looks good; we even saw one move!

Hmmm he does look like a he to me!!! That comb looks awfully red.

I woke up this morning literally mins before the first zip. I hadn't even gotten coffee. There are at least 3 other pips in my line of sight, but so far, can only see the ones beak, but no other progress. My incubator is on a kitchen counter, and there is a warm spot in the floor from just standing there all day instead of doing something boring, like cleaning my bathroom

I need to get one of these. We are going to walmart this weekend so i will be on the lookout for one.
