Hahaha I candle them even when they are externally pipped. I do not recommend new people to do this though because some take that advice to the extreme and their chicks die then they blame you... This happened when I talked about dry incubating. Someone took it upon themselves to say "We told them to do it" when we were having a conversation about what I do and I never gave advice to themI candle mine every night until I see internal pips. Then I say "Oh $h1t!," and start getting the brooder ready (after I take out the turner and pour some warm water into the 'bator.)![]()
