So they’re olive eggers because that’s what BCM/ Legbars make

Cream legbars (blue eggs), Olive eggers (Olive eggs), Black Copper Maran (Dark chocolate eggs), Varred Rock (pink/cream), and Delaware (pink/cream eggs).

I’ve owned all these breeds and still have some. They’re all very good layers and have great temperaments.

Delawares are very limited on ebay - I have only seen like 3 people selling all summer. I had only 2 hatch from my shipment and noticed crooked toes on the parents pics after purchase, the 2nd listing has a very yellow tinted to the feathers, and the 3rd is very expensive.

I know a great ebay seller that sells Silkies. Some other ornamental breeds: Ayam Cemani, Svart Hona, Polish, d'Uccles.

I do actually have Ayam cemanis now (a frizzle and an origional) I hatched. I'm curious why Delaware are so hard bow. All the hatcheries I order from sell them. Sure they're not show quality but still...

I think I got lucky and have 1 pullet and 1 cockerel out of my hatch of 2.

Mine I call Mama Chicken ever since she was a chick she would care for all the runts. She actually raised the BJG until they got massive.

I am not sure. It looks like I could have ordered Delaware chicks through our local farm store, but I have had enough problems with hatchery chicks through the farm store that I decided to just buy eggs and hatch this year instead.
