I thought I sounded dumb saying that... I am actually shocked. Today the broodies came out for a few to eat and my black Cochin did a good job protecting nothing because she doesn’t have chicks yet. She has two eggs so I’ll slip the chicks with her then I’ll take the 2 eggs and put them in the bator.I remember that some people think they can count to three, but I think you’ll be fine. (As in they can tell what one is, what two is, and three or more is all the same.
