Finally I was able to take pics of my momma hen and her chicks. 7 out out 12 were viable on day 10 when I candled but only 6 hatched. Yay!! 50% hatch from a store bought light brown large fertile eggs. I'm guessing these were probably from ISA brown breed known as one of the best egg producers. What do you think?

May I join in on tis as well? All your babies are so adorable! I have EE's and RIR's hatching now.

Ducks next week are due for lock down and then turkeys on order to go in around the 15th. I have to stop myself from checking the hatcher ever few mins to see if I have new babies. I'm really hoping these do well I love EE's and want these to do well. I'm hoping to get some pure Ameracana later in the year but I still like the color mix of these its kinda like xmas and my bday all rolled into one!

Okay I had I to go look. I have 7 babies so far!

I still love it when I go check and there are more waiting for me. I'll try to post a few pics but be patient with me I have a hard time running my toaster much less working a computer. The other babies are welsummers that i got last night from a local breeder.

Now I wait for the rest to hatch. Several are zipping...please please

I think I forgot to post earlier, I have another SS hatchling!

Now still waiting on the leghorn mix and another ss (which has pipped at wrong end).

Im guessing that will be all out of this hatch. Still a couple ss eggs in there, but not doing anything.
