I lucked up on these at a Chicken Swap the 1st of June. Hoping for at least a pair!!!

9 as of last night, 15 this morning, 3 are still very wet and new atleast 5 more are pipped right now with 2 starting to unzip... i even have an andalusion cross chick unzipping... very cool, didnt even expect that egg to be fertile, now it could be a cochin cross or an ameraucauna cross... the toes will tell

update on my eggs... today is day 20 for me and all my rocking and rolling yesterday has slowed down so I am thinking they have all gotten in the position they want. so far no external pips but I am hoping for some by the end of the day. keeping my fingers crossed. temp is a steady 99.5 and humidity is running between 50-60%. and considering I set my eggs in the afternoon on the 1st of June I am expecting them to hatch tomorrow afternoon or night. we will see.

I was so emotional with my shipped eggs. spend what i should not have, spend three weeks locked on my bator and out of 20 four made it till day 20.

yesturday i could wait and candle. no movment. dont know what to do. the aircell were bad to begin with and now they dont move and day 22. maybe they are resting maybe are goners or they might need help. I dont know i just know its a bad way to spend a birthday

I didn't know you could end up with eggs like THAT in the chicken swap! Maybe I'll have to try that sometime I had my Lavender Ameraucanas shipped to be but only two survived and I had to help them out. BUT I have one hen and one roo ^_^

Oh I hope for you that they are just taking a bit longer!!! Mine were two days later when shipped!

Is it too late to join? I have button quail in the bator on day 8. Expect them to hatch on the 29th. I got 36 eggs shipped, one broke then three more got broken while I had my son in the hospital. I candled this morning and tossed 9 clears, saw veining and movement in a few. The others I saw good air cells in most and a few were just too dark for me to tell so I have 23 eggs still going

This is why I HATE shipped eggs!!!!! Hang in there one more day, then you need to do a float test.

Here is the link. Do 1 egg at a time and make sure the water is right temp and very still so you can detect movement
