No no worries she has been following our search and was hoping to clock a few new states to her list she is native costa rican and had never seen snow till seven years ago she wants me to retire and take a job back home and move she wants to live in the states but I'm just shy of being vested and have to get a few more years in ,,, the Sussex search was down to her or the Michigan breeder you found so it's all good as long as I get a good line ,, as for the mystery Sussex it apparently got under my radar in the may 21st hatch I had set 18 ls from a sq breeder in Ohio that I met up with at the Dayton poultry show in April I marked a d recorded all the eggs by breed and marked the air cells like I always do and recorded them in my log on day nine I had 17 confirmed clears that were definitely infertile with horrid shells so I tossed them I had one very iffy that I locked down and it was exactly that iffy it did not hatch so according to my set book the LS were a bust but apparently one got by me and made the grade he was a lil funky when I tossed that hatch into the brooder he was YELLOW as a banana but the hatch was made up of hamps and slw so I just figured he was one of the Germans I had in the mix and was a lil on the light side but after a few days everyone got more red and he got more yellow uggg one of my eggs from the other bator made it into my hatch during the egg shuffle sikie carton snaffu ,,,,,, nope not the case I have one light Sussex how about that ! LolOnly other person was in NW Arkansas, over 4 hrs SW from me. Wasnt willing to meet me half way. I didnt think you would want to drive that far either. Where did the LS come from?
