JNJ you sound like me with the shipped/breeder eggs. After this mine only.
El you planning on SLW in Nov? that when yours will mature? I will have (I hope) SLC x SLW by then. Since I have the roo cochin but only pullets that are 7 weeks or so. Bur plenty of other ideas to play with.
Keep fingers crosses at least 1 shipper BR hatches male. That way I can perpetuate my flocks of BR, BA, BSL.

Before I get done I'll have 20 some projects going. LOL oh well keeps me occupied and busy. And feeds the family.
Not a big plan but hoping rouen decides to get broody. She changed her nest spot in last 2 days 3 times

. I think she CAN count eggs. Moved her 3 eggs to coop yesterday where she layed last egg, and she layed different part of coop this AM. Hoping tomorrow she lays with them again. Or its bator material.
Broody guinea still cooking 38 or so eggs. Others will prolly start sitting soon themselves. NO idea where they nesting.
Bators full but not to the rim. Trying hold off on setting eggs. And man its rough. But wanna see what I have from those set. Except guineas, can't get enough. Until they hatch then I will have too many LOL. Have about 4 outlets for them already and thats BEFORE they hatch. Have 7-8 Cornish X I pulled for breeding purpose IF I can keep them healthy til they lay. 1 is a runt and wish she was a WR she looks perfect, but not meat material. Prolly 1 I should cull but I can't bring myself to do it. Maybe she'll be my head meat breeder and not have issues (we can hope).
Just realized this incubation, due Sat hasn't had any of the issues with power others had. Almost tempted to go pull the plug for 6 hrs.
Oh well cook em and see.
Welcome all new hatchalongholics, and GL on all exspecting chicks/duckling/guineas/pealings(what you call a peahen/cock chick?)
