too cute.... congrats....I like the little silver one. I need me at least one of those hehe.
ok ..... I am awake...... and I think I counted correctly...... if so there are 14 hatched and 14 left to go. It is kinda hard to count them with all the babies moving around and rolling the eggs too. they are all pretty wet still. at 1am I had 5 hatched and by 5am there are 14 the humidity in there was up to 80%...... l took the other plug out and gonna give them a little while to get dried off a little bit while I drink my coffee then I will go get them put in my bathroom brooder box and take pics.
Well my June hatch has officially come to and end. Last 2 eggs hatched last night making and even 30 out of 37 that hatched. 6 eggs never developed and lost one chick during hatching, my fault there cause I thought it was unfertile also and pipped it to early only to realize it wasn't. But you learn from your mistakes and this has been a good process for me to gain some valuable info. Like, what humidity and temps worked for my bator, just how long I can store eggs, and I noticed that the eggs that didn't develope were all older except for one which was really small. Now hopefully they do well and I get a bunch of pullets. Good luck to all!!
