She had to be collecting eggs that had started under a broody, or perhaps in very hot days? Eggs just don't start developing on their own without a heat source. I have seen larger fertile spots than others... this being just different stages of the blastoderm, but it needs Mama hen or incubator to get any veining or chicks! I think that would ruin my breakfast a bit!One of my eating egg customers commented my eggs were always perfect, but one lady she got eggs from once, a lot of the eggs had chicks or veining in them. With how much I'm thinking about it when I'm trying to get these to grow, I'm a little jealous of the lady who was doing it accidentally. I never had one that was growing accidentally, only one with a larger bullseye than normal.
