Alright it is day 21 and momma pullet is so happy ....

Momma pullets nest ....

And now this 23 week old pullet had hatched out 4 chicks and
the day is not even half over and another egg is on it's way to
hatching out more wonders .....

Still no eggs from my woods broody and the other eggs go into lockdown tonight. If some crazy mutant hatches put of any of those eggs then I'm done. I think I would sell all my chickens, and never eat another egg or nugget..

So far I am at 5/6 my eggs, and 4/10 shipped. I have hope for possibly 2 more of the shipped.

I am at 10/16 of my shipped eggs, and 6/7 of my local eggs (from a friend, but they sat for a week+ waiting for the shipped eggs to arrive) as of candling 4 days ago. Most of the shipped eggs had loose/wobbly air sacs when they arrived, many of them stabilized during the first week of incubation but some are still a little wobbly and seem to be developing okay. One of my local eggs was a little cracked and I sealed it with wax... it seems to be developing okay, but I'm not holding out much hope for it. I'm on day 14 today, one more week to go!

It looks like my final count is 5/6 my eggs and 5/10 for the shipped. I'll candle the remaining ones again in the morning just in case, but they don't look good today. I'm happy with the hatch, my shipped eggs had pretty bad air cells even though they were packed well. They must have had a rough trip.

Oh wow congrats! That's like 50% on the shipped which I read was the best you should hope for. That's why I drove far away to get mine and I still had a horrible hatch rate.

FINALLY...... Its day 20 and I can hear chirping in 1/11 EE broody hens eggs! I hope she hatches it while I'm still awake!!!
