There was some bubble wrap, but I think the main issue was that, no matter how they were wrapped, any eggs on the OUTSIDE, especially the CORNERS, of a box WILL BREAK if they encounter enough force. I know some people swear by these foam blocks. And there was even bubble wrap AROUND those foam blocks. But, as you can see, it's just not sufficient.Ya know I don't like to be ugly but if I paid $65/dozen eggs I would be mad at the shipper for the way they were packed. No bubble wrap? No extra protection?!?! for $65 EGGS?!?!
One shipment I got had a box within a box with padding around the inner box and that was the best hatch I've ever had.
