June Online Hatching Egg Swap Closed Addresses sent

I rarely see any on day 3. I look sometimes on day 4 but sometimes I need to go based on a different appearance in the egg. It looks like a shadow forms half way down. I still leave the eggs in until day 7-10 unless there is an obvious blood ring.

I've thrown eggs out on day 5-6 before that I didn't see development in but when I opened them up, there was a developing chick.

some eggs are harder to see at 3 days, i usually give till 7 days before tossing.

Unless I need room, or the eggs are stinky, I wait for day 10 and do chick or no chick. If there is a lump, i'm good to go, if not, toss. But even then sometimes I wait, im a wuss.

Okay, question....

After 3 days in the incubator, shouldn't there be some sign of veining?? Our control eggs (those we snagged from the pens before the chickens were sold) showed obvious veining at 3 days. ShellyGa's didn't show veining at 3 days or 6 days. Now Zookeeper's eggs show no sign of veining at 3 days.

???

I wait till Day 7 or even Day 10

I HATE HATE HATE it when chicks die. its so depressing.
