June to July hatch-a-long!!!

My black austrolorp hatched 6 eggs two weeks ago. The rooster is a silkie frizzle mix (he has smooth feathers, his brother is frizzle). The hens are a variety- barred rock, golden buff, Easter egger, buckeye, leghorn, buff Orpington are all in with the roo. Here's the chicks... No idea what they are but 4 look like they week have frizzle feathers, and 2 smooth feathers. They have feathers on their feet but don't have the extra toe of a silkie. +

First time hatching for us and they are so stinking cute following mama hen around the yard

Hate to break it to you, but you're not going to get any frizzles from that mix. Frizzling is a dominant trait. If the father wasn't frizzled he can't pass it on to his offspring. They will all be smooth feathered.

Also, the black chick with the white dot on its head is a male. That's a sex linked cross and only males will have the head spot.

They are adorable!!
 
So I want to give my broodys some eggs but we are suppos to build a new chicken coop... should I wait to give them the eggs?
 
I need help this is my first time hatching chicks I have a first time broody hen sitting on this egg. The egg showed it first sign of a pip at 8 p.m last night and the condition of the egg hasn't changed should I be worried? Is the egg okay?
