It is fertile for sure. There seems to be very little fertility trouble if any with the Greys and Ceylons. The only ones that I know of to have issues are the Green hybrids, and even then, it is just the hens.

Here is a video of the rooster crowing. Not the best quality, but you get the point. I think the word for a three-way hybrid is "tribrid." His mother is half ceylon and his father is half grey.
He basically looks like a chicken. You can tell he has the JF in him, especially hearing his crow. Notice that he does not pop his wings before he crows like a chicken does. This is a grey JF trait.

I use the term tri-hybrid with interspecies sunfish crosses.

Your rooster in video, if I understand your terminology is as follows: (chicken x ceylon) x (chicken x grey) where mother always presented first. If correct, your bird is 1/2 chicken + 1/4 ceylon + 1/4 grey giving one whole bird.

What type of chicken went into cross?

The mother of the mother was a Ceylon, and the father of the father was a Grey. The chicken parents were longtails. But you can't tell that by looking at this particular rooster.

What species of sunfish are you crossing? Bream are sunfish right?

Cross pretty much all in genus Lepomis. Concentrating on those involving bluegill and redear. Cross between those two most promising owing to growth rate and legal issues for culture. Others pretty interesting but not apparently suitable for production as a consumable.

yes, jungle fowl are rare. They were the first bird of the jungle. If you want to learn more about jungle fowl, please contact me.

What does first bird of the jungle mean ? All chickens are decended from the red jungle fowl so we all have jungle fowl . I think, there is a breed called a Bengal that is a hybrid breed of grey domestic chicken but i can't remember where i read that and can't find any reference to it again . I would be very interested in getting a hen to cross to my BBR Serama to create a bantam hybrid JF. I can't believe this hasn't been done in the past .

What does first bird of the jungle mean? There are several species of jungle fowl that must have evolved from a common ancestor that was not a jungle fowl.
