I don't want to scare anyone away from doing NPIP testing either, but someone in KY had the State Vet and NPIP tester telling her that she had to cull her flock because one of her birds tested positive for MG. Keep in mind that this was just her side of the story and what I really think they said was that she *should* cull her flock. Anyway, she finally posted that they (the Government) weren't going to cull flock, so it all ended well.
NPIP testing here isn't an option for me, but I am planning on having my Peafowl blood tested for MG and MS. Never had any respiratory problems that would suggest that they're positive, just want to be sure that I'm selling MG and MS clean eggs and chicks.
