As we know, Xylitol, usually as a sweetener in some peanut butters, is highly toxic for our dogs and other pets. Well the slicky marketing people have changed the name on labeling to "Birch Sugar". Sounds sooo natural and good, huh! If this is toxic to our pets what makes it good for human consumption? Just one of those things to make me go Hmmmm. If you're suspicious 99% of the time you're right.
 
Just commenting that they didn't "just" change the name.

Xylitol was known as Birch Sugar (and the less market appealing "Wood Sugar" since at least 2000, Its toxicity to dogs became reasonably well known six or seven years later.

But yes, some may be unaware. TY for the PSA
