Just an interesting duck tale.

I have three young ducks all about three months old, two rouens and a pekin. I thought I had two hens and a drake. They stared mating recently and I didn't think much of it but today one of my rouens finished "mating" with my pekin then got into the position a female duck would to mate and my other rouen mated with "her/him". I little confused now, obviously, and I've read that male ducks will occasionally have sex with other male ducks using force. But the Rouen didn't do anything to stop the other. Any thoughts?

Sounds as if the duck/drake is doubling their chances. I know with my pigeons that when they are young and approaching sexual maturity 'anything goes'.
