I am also glad it is over for you. You will find someone you trust to buy birds from. If you pick them up at their house you can kind of tell by the condition of the coop. I do buy some of mine from swap flocks. So far I have been lucky, but I always quarantine them for at least 30 days. When I first started out I did not know the different kind of chickens. So when I went to flock swaps I had no idea if it was a pure breed chick or not. Most people were honest, but a couple sold me mix breeds. That's okay I love them one and all!
