Just burried my guard puppy

So sorry to hear it. I lost a young dog last week, same way. I was getting groceries out of the car and she slipped past my ankles (maltipoo) and ran STRAIGHT out into the street and got hit before I even saw she was out. Never made a peep, thank god. She never knew what hit her. I felt bad for the old man who hit her. He kept apologizing to me but I told him I was very sorry to have even caused this to happen to him today, not to worry about it. I have had a LOT of dogs in my life but never had one hit by a car ever. So sorry for your loss, big hugs from California....

He was hit by a car. Just a dirt road so I didn't generally worry about him. There was a guy and a 2 gals. Never did get their names. They were soo supportive. The guy carried him back to my little pet cemetary by the willows and hammock. Poor guy. He cried the whole way. I just kept saying I'm sorry you had to go through this. Just sad.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always hard to lose our little animals. I wish there was something I could say to help you but I'm at a loss for words right now. I hope you find comfort soon.

Thanks, all for letting me feel. Yea 'on the spot' you almost feel more sorry for the person that knows what they did than you do for yourself. Especially if they are an animal lover.

I know what you mean. The guy who ran over my dog was the same guy who took me to pick him out when I got him. He and I had litter mates and his got run over soon after we got them. He was beside himself when he ran over mine, but it wasn't his fault.

So sorry, I'm there with you. Just had to bury my horse last Sunday and my dog Oct 4th.

Poor guy. Noones fault. Thus the term 'accident'.
