Have you had any experience with splash marans? Are they good broodys?

Mine hasn't gone broody yet, nor has she shown any inkling of wanting to. But she is only 13 months, so she's still young

I have two buff Orpingtons about a year old and a wyandotte and splash marans that turn 10 weeks Saturday and I’m hoping to get some broody girls.

I don't do orpington so I can't begin to offer advice. My splash copper marans has already been mentioned. My blue laced gold Wyandotte went broody at around a yearish and never tried again

he's really big.
He's an Australorp-Lavender Orpington mix.
