My polish hen laid her first egg today! Just when I had given up hope.

I have my first flock, 7 week old BYM that I would be really interested to know their breeds Freyja and Annie on the roost, Adrienne with the red comb and Valkyrie. The one I’m holding is my little runt/dwarf Jane Foster she’s a lot smaller than the others but just so sweet. I’ve always been worried we will lose her. Then I have my 3, 3 week old babies a BCM named Amy, who looks crazy because she’s not doing a great job at feathering and 2 Olive Eggers, Cordelia and Pinky Pie that basically look the same lol

I’m not too great at breeds . But Adrienne looks like an EE. Valkyrie looks like a maran. You have a good looking flock going . Are your OE more noisy than the other chick? My OE is very vocal. Thanks for sharing!

My OE’s are soooo loud! I was telling my chicken lady friend that they just do not seem like they are content lol. They are constantly chirping lol. I didn’t go through that with the first round of chicks. I thought Adrienne and Valkyrie look like a pullet and cockerel of the same breed lol. I’m pretty confident Adrienne is a cockerel.

That age and red comb I’d be shocked if Adrienne wasn’t a cockerel. I thought it was just mine. My OE is constantly chirping and making like a whistling chirp. She’s been noisey since she hatched!

I also feel like Annie is a cockerel lol I think the other 3 are pullets as far as I can tell. I got the OE’s and BCM from Wilco so I’m hoping those are pullets as well and they didn’t mess up.
