Just curious... what side of the bed do you and your spouse sleep on ?

I am stuck on the right side, NOT my preference. The ceiling fan and A/C hit the left side better, so DH shivers all night, even though I pile all my covers on him.

I tend to prefer the moving, cooler air, but both times I have tried to switch he has shoved me off the left side and taken over again. He's a sound sleeper, never remembers doing it. Or so he says......

That's from the in bed view, so from the foot, I would be on the left, he would be on the right.

Birdie, I'm with you, except no recliner available. So my bad hip demands that I sleep on my left side, facing DH - and he grinds his teeth!

Looking at the bed, I am on the left and he on the right. It used to be the other way around until we rearranged the bedroom. I have always slept on the side away from the door. Boogeyman and all.

I have that "sheep" mattress I had for six years and hated it after a year of breaking in it. It rolls and lumpy and has a valley in the middle. When you pick it up to change position from head to foot (non flippable), it would make creaking noises and the mattress would bowed in the valley. I thought this high priced mattress would last ten years but a year, forget it. I wont be buying another mattress from that "sheep" factory and go elsewhere that has NON padded, flippable solid mattress. Just a waste of money!

Sitting on the bed. I sleep on the right side. But i sometimes switch it up ... just to annoy hubby.

We use to have a queen size bed and he slept on the left side. After I started having a problem with my arm, he was sweet enough to switch me sides. We now have a king size bed and he sleeps on the right side and I sleep in the middle.

Sourland- has your wife been tested for sleep apnea? Snoring would indicate that she is not getting the right amount of oxygen at night. She might need one of those CPAP machines.

I sleep slap dap in the middle, but I am spouse-free.

The one dog sleeps at the head of the bed until I get in. Then she gets off until she thinks I'm asleep. Once I get really still she will "sneak" back up to the foot (except at 50+ pounds she is not very stealthy).

Max the cat sleeps up at head height so I can pet him. We are a smidgey bit spoiled.
