Just curious... what side of the bed do you and your spouse sleep on ?

Hubby can kick all night long, every ten seconds. Usually on his left side of his body, kick leg and arm punching out like clockwork. Nothing else. It's annoying and I thought about getting us twin beds after we get rid of this "sheep" mattress but he absolutely REFUSED that idea of the twin beds. Well Lucy and Desi did it!

I am single now, but for the first time in my adult life. I am so used to having a spouse that I instinctively sleep on the right side of the bed. Used to sleeping with a bed hog too apparently, because I sleep on the FAR edge, and wake up sometimes and wonder why the heck I am hanging off the bed when there is NO ONE else even in it! I keep trying to get myself to spread out and enjoy the whole bed, but it's so engrained that I just can't do it. I don't even mess up the bed. I can get out of bed and fold the covers right back into place on my side, the other side is completely untouched.

Standing at the foot of the bed, hubbo sleeps on the left, and I sleep on the right 2 rooms down! We both snore and kick, so for a good night's sleep, it's seperate. And peaceful!

yup thats me too not sure why but so maybe if theres a problem he can run out in his boxers to scare them away.

Not this cat. I have to sleep next to the wall. Always been like that. Maybe I like feeling the coolness of the wall on my back when I sleep. Weird, I know.

Also, if the boogyman comes in, it'll get Heather first, and it'll give me a chance to get out of the house.

Same here. However we rearrange, he always sleeps closest to the door.

yup same here

for all you chics sleeping farthest from the door is it because you are afraid of the dark?

because i think thats why i do it. when i was a kid i use to put my back to the door and face the wall. because i was a fraid of the dark. well still am .

I sleep in the center, and he sleeps in a little sliver on the left....
He might need a bed rail soon so he doesn't fall out!

Hi! Interesting reading.
My hubby claims the side of the bed next to the BR door. Right next to the shotgun leaning behind the BR door, his pistol, a big knife open on his nightstand --- so I'm safe if boogers come in the night (if they come through the door). I think it's sweet.
