Erm... I don't even have my chicks yet and the 3 I will eventually keep already have names, LOL! Feetsie, BB and Dot.
Disclaimer: MY family would like to forewarn you that all preemptive chicken names are subject to change without notice.
I finally got around to telling the kids we were getting chickens this weekend. It took about 10 minutes for the naming to begin. The naming party went from the two teen/preteen girls shouting names out randomly, to both girls walking around with great purpose toting clip boards with names in the hundreds written down list style, both of them carrying different colored highlighters so they could distinguish the names that got the best responses. Each child would prance up to one of us, clip board in one hand, highlighters in the other, and announce proudly, "Chicken naming poll time!". Then proceed to read off all the names they had written down at the speed of light.
As you all might know 2 preteen girls naming an animal who's most commonly known body part is a breast is a recipe for hilarity.
Some of the most notable names from the naming party were-
Boobie Lady
Big Boobie Lady
Big boobs
bubble butt
Booby McBoobington
The older teen then went on to list names for the whole flock-
Big Booby Brooders
Big Titty Committee
The Titty Trifecta
The oldest also became competitive and started to write names she thought would make her appear "super cool" and "mature", but they made absolutely no sense, here are some examples-
Hawaiian Sunset
Sandy beach
Blue Sky
etc.
In the end I went with the pg names listed above, LOL!
