just got back from the doctor with 13 yr old with thyroid problems

they did blood work . it took them 3 sticks to get enough blood .they are doing a ultrasound on th 18th

Is he on any meds now for it? I am hypothroid and tho controllable with meds, there are other thyroid troubles too.

yes she is on mds. the doctor did blood work to compare to her last blood work to see how the meds are working

Yup, and they will do that the rest of her life. At first it's frequent, after a couple years they will only want to test once a year... if she feels ok.
