Just got the call

At least they weren't lost. Somebody else posted a thread about a shippment that was suppose to arrive on Wed and had not arrived by Friday.

That is sad.

Well all 44 have arrived. Supposed to be 39. I figured for a couple of extra, but 5 is pretty nice. Two exotics, can't wait to figure those out. There are a few that are taking naps right away, but most are running around pecking at crumbles on the paper and drinking water. I would post pics but have no clue if this will work. Here is the group after putting them in. Anyone know what kind the single one is? It has black speckles on its head.

It's terrible...she said they still haven't arrived yet. Unless someone was feeding them, I think they'll be DOA unfortunetly. Someone posted to her thread who had it happen.

Just wait till you get them in your brooder and then the "paranoid Mama hen syndrome"(as I lovingly call it!(LOL)...sets in..."Are they too hot?".."Are they too cold?"..."Are they eating?"..."Are they pooping?"..."Are they sleeping?"..."Do they look like girls or boys?" and then Hubby says ok can we PLEASE go to bed now:woot!!!...YEP!...your a Mama!!!(LOL)!!! Ps. OOOOH...and don't forget your friends on BYC require pics of new peepers!!!

The mail is moving everyday. Just because the doors arent open to customers dosent mean they are not working. They are supposed to call everytime when there is live animals. They dont send them with carriers.
