I do agree with helping a chick also, BUT.... You have to know WHEN to help and when not to help !!!! And HOW to help !!!
Noone knows what is going on inside an egg and who knows what will happend after we help or not !!!!
I wish PeepersMom would let us know how the chick is doing.... ive been checking this post for 3 days hoping to find out.
Also PeepersMom don't get to upset about what people say about it, let it be a learning experience. We all have made mistakes.

in a basket covered with a towel. I took the lid completely off the incubator numerous times during hatching. And back then I had a higher survival rate than I have in the last 3 hatches. Once I think I fix a problem, apparently I make another mistake. I used to candle them without washing my hands, so I would get lots of loss due to blood rings. Now I wash my hands before every time I touch them. One batch still had almost half get blood rings, one batch only had one blood ring. Let's be nice to the newbies. There is a lot to know.
