I didn't have the heart to throw a chicken in there with them. Not with the babies.
Now, were it just one adult mouse -- or two, or three -- I'd be fine with it, but, babies? I couldn't do it.

I actually knew that, but my definition in my own words started to look like something the DAWG and I collaborated on (long-winded novel-esque!:D ), so I went hunting. This Wiki entry said the same thing much more clearly than I did. I thought I'd included the byline, but apparently lost it in m cut-n-paste. I'll go back & fix that,
I'm fascinated by the zebra/horse "construct." I love this pic that circulates around the internet a lot - I WANT! I would never breed for it, but I'd consider rescue for one. Can't you just see one of these pulling a cart in your local parade?
