Hey Christina here! Started out with a gift of one rooster and a pulley. Enjoyed the sound of my rooster Jacinto every morning and getting my daily egg from Petunia. Unfortunately, a dog got into the coop and took both their lives. I missed the joy and had an empty coop to look at now.
To fix the matter, I bought 4 Cinnamon Queen chicks and raised them from 5 days old. Then added three Orpington (one died) with and a Wyandotte who were three days old. THEN added ten more baby chicks that were two days old! Two Plymouth barred rocks, two Wyandottes, one Rhode island red rooster, two black Australorp and three Brown Leghorns and two more golden laced Wyandotte! My life is normal now…Lol!

Now I have a mix

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

So sorry for your losses. :hugs Never easy to lose them to predators. Nice photo!❤️ You might replace that chicken wire with hardware cloth, chicken wire is extremely flimsy and just about every predator can chew or bust through it.

Enjoy your new flock! If you have any questions about them along the way, be sure to ask.
