Just ordered goslings! Update: THEY'RE HERE!

They're squishier than chicks too. It makes me want to cuddle them more.. xD

They've been doing cute things.. Like running in circles. With their little wing stubs flapping about.

Aren't goslings a hoot? They are so animated and interesting. I loved my chickens as chicks and my ducklings are also cute, but my goslings are just our favorites. They are wonderful. (Messy, but worth it.)

 

[Puddle Foot Farm]

Today we've been practicing having them follow me.. My mom let me bring them to work with us (she owns her own store), so every time a customer comes in, I've been walking one of the geese around. Very, very cute.

I've figured out who's who now.. We have the gander, Toulouse Pamplemousse (grapefruit in French), and then Abigail and Amelia. Abbie is bigger and lighter than Amelia. They already have personalities! Toulouse prefers to just look at you, Amelia likes being cuddled but not taken around, and Abbie loves to run after you and be on you and climb on you.

I took each of them outside individually.. They did a whole lot of gnawing on things, but not actually eating. I need to make them a milk gallon waterer, because they've been playing in their bowl. I think I'm going to give them a bit of swimming water for a couple minutes later..

My mom says that I've found my calling. I say..

They are really messy though.. But whatever!
