[IMG]I just received my 4 eggs in the mail. I got the barnyard mix, so I have no idea what they will turn out to be. I got them set up in the incubator, and the humidity and temp are perfect. I'm really just concerned about what to feed the chicks that can be made at home or bought very cheaply at the feed store. I'm in the Mobile, Alabama area and the closest feed store is Tractor Supply Company. Would a $2 bag of chick starter be the best option for the babies or should I try something else I want to do what is best for them.
    Thanks,
    Kara

P.S. Howard (goose) is now a father!! y babies hatched this morning. 5 of them! I need a few naming suggestions.

I always start out with chick starter feed. You can add in or make your own feed later but make it easy on yourself and grab a starter bag!

    Congrats!!
