Just saved him what is he? Edit to add pictures post #20

He does have some feathers on his feet but he does look just like the Belgian Bearded D'Anver in his body and face but the feather feat would be all wrong, and his comb kind of looks like theirs but bigger I have only had single comb chickens and this is my first time ever seeing anything like this.

I have a mixed-breed rooster with a comb like that. Mine doesn't have muffs - yours must be part of one of the bearded breeds. He looks part Favorelles to me. Mine - I think - is part GLW and part BR. I think that comb is what you get when you cross a rose comb with a large single comb.

Whatever your rooster is, he's very handsome!

Thank you everyone, it is the weirdest thing I have ever seen, and I can't seem to stop staring at it lol...........
What ever he is hopefully people wont hold it against me for not knowing........I will love him no matter what, and kiss him and hug him and squeeze him to death he is just so sweet...........

He definitely looks like a mix to me. A mix of what, I have no idea.

But I do have to say how sweet you are to take him in. May he have a long, happy life from now on.

We are already in love with him......now to Name him

Thank you kind soul! Who could do that to ANY animal???!!! I have several little guys that look just like him and they are all mixes of this and that but all have a little Phoenix in them... He's quite handsome. Long spurs indicate he's an older bird. They can be cut but be careful not too cut them down too far. You certainly don't want them to curl into his legs.
