i'm going to be setting some muscovy eggs for the first time and wanted to make sure i'm doing it right. so is my information correct....

day 1-31

humidity = 70%

temp = 99.5 - 101

(automatic turning)

lockdown (day 32-35)

humidity = 70%

temp = 98.5

(stop turning eggs)

any tips or corrections would be greatly appreciated

Humidity until lock down should be around 50% for most duck breeds. I tend to run mine around 35-40% as I live in FL then increase to 75% for lockdown. Good luck with the eggs.

No, 70% humidity during incubation will probably kill them all in the shell. Far too high, they'll drown in there.

I do 35 to 40% for upland birds like turks, quail, and 45% for waterfowl. Seems to work out better than if I have it higher. Lockdown is about 55% for the upland birds and 65% for the waterfowl.
